front axle lower control arm ajustment bolt and cam washer
So heres the deal. I've got ajustable control arms all arond. When installing the new arms I snapped one of the lower front axle control arm bolt. So I replaced it with a grade 8 3/4 bolt and reused the cam washer (although usless bc bolt isnt cut to work with the washer). Its been driving fine with a slight pull to the driver side. I measured wheelbase and my passenger side is 1/2" longer than driver side. I'm getting ready to fix this but I just need you thoughts. Whats do you guys think if I replaced all hardware with 3/4 grade 8 hardware and completey go unjustable or should I go buy factory hardware. I dont think that it should be a problem replaceing with grade 8 harware bc I have adjustment through my control arms.

Re: front axle lower control arm ajustment bolt and cam washer
i helped a guy once who had the same issue, but when he swaped some of the hard ware, the factory threads were just a hundreth off and ended up wearing down all the threads. he had to tap all the fittings and had to make sure all the hard ware was same.
so i would check your threads to see if they are wearing out/getting stripped. if not you should be all set with going garde 8. on the other hand will loosing that 1/2 inch have a huge differance?

So I believe that 1/2" is the culprit for the Jeep wandering drivers side.

Question:
Why are adjustable control arms AND cam bolts being used? Thought adjustable control arms took the place of cam bolts so you won't have to use those?

The lift kit didnt supply new bolts and actually had in the instructions to mark and reuse the original cam bolts. I see your point and I'm going to replace them all as soon as I can get the time.
