I used Goforit inserts. Drilled out the knuckles and the draglink to tierod location and tacked the inserts in.

I have but done it on my JK, probably not the response you are looking for but for what its worth....

- Drilled out the knuckle
- Insert conical grommet
- Remove JK OEM draglink
- Install your choice of after market draglinks (There's a OEM one from another Jeep that works well on the JK.. I forgot which model)

One thing to make sure on the JK is you raise the track bar mount along with the flip. You want to ensure the track bar and draglink are as parallel as possible or else you have nasty bump steer.

I drilled a 3/4" hole and dropped in the insert.

Did you tack weld it in?

Yes I ran 3 short welds on top.And I went back to a stock pitman arm.
My old 4" drop pitman arm used to rub the tie rod. Now there is plenty of room
and it's up out of the way.
