It's a long shot someone would need these, but here goes. When you do a motor swap to a newer motor, you may need to to alter signal types or pulse rates to make your old tach and speedo work. One of the main companies that provides this is Dakota Digital. I used their tach and speedo units when I put a GM '02 4.3v6 into my Jeep that had a OEM 4 cyl, and they worked fine. Now I swapped out my YJ gauges for 7 from Autometer. The new ones are designed to go into anything, so they take care of signal issues. My old units are for sale.
