Is the 15" rim and tire combo going the way of the VHS tape? With all the New Vehicles running 16" + rims and vehicles coming with bigger brakes is the end near? What got me thinking this? Well I'm trying to get 35" 12.50 15" BFG KM2's It's been 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it's a conspiracy to make us all pay more for tires and wheels. I've got 16" wheels on my F250, but it looks like the newer ones are all 17" or larger and even for the same height tire the prices go up for the bigger hole in the center. LOL

In any venture, general retailers that stock items have to follow the crowd. The folks buying new wheel & tire combo's aren't back-fitting 15's, that's for sure. Specialty companies like Interco will, hopefully, try to sell every last 15 they can to profit off the old R&D and existing tooling.

If supply gets bad enough, you might see specialty wheel manufactures making previously common 15" lug pattern wheel centers with bigger rims, ie 5x5.5-20 wheels to fit available tires. For sure, you can buy custom rims like that now.
